Fire Master Plan

UPDATE! 

Fredericton Fire Chief Dwayne Killingbeck presented an update about work on the new Fire Master Plan to the City’s Public Safety Committee on August 10, 2023.

Five phases have been proposed to get to the implementation of the new Plan. Phases one and two were completed by staff and the Emergency Management Group (EMG).

The Fredericton Fire Department has a proud tradition of assisting residents and effectively responding to emergency situations. In our ongoing efforts to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our community, we are creating a 10-year community-driven Fire Master Plan to guide operational improvements and enhance how the service is provided throughout Fredericton.
