A more accessible, easier to understand transit system, Sunday service, and an app so people can be alerted to scheduling/potential delays.

There two sidewalks on Regent, York, Smythe, one on each side but there is no dedicated bike lane other a short stretch on York. Why not convert one of the two sidewalks to bike use until separated and dedicated bike lanes can be built. Presently there are a several safe east west biking options particularly in the downtown area but no safe north south biking options (downtown up to Prospect St).

This has been an issue for the last 30 years and should be seriously considered. People treat Waterloo row as if it's a highway so pedestrians and local residents in the town plat area trying to cross are at the mercy of drivers stopping to let them cross. I've seen on countless occasions cars stopping to let people cross the road and neglectful drivers will pass on the inside almost hitting them as they try to cross. I don't know why we waiting for a serious accident in order to make a change for public safety. There are crossings at the very start and ending of this road, but the entire street should be a pedestrian crossing so they have the right of way. It doesn't require a stop walk, but just a zoned area. This would drastically reduce people speeding, but also encourage awareness. Don't let a incident child's death be the reason for change.

It's always so difficult when the harsh NB winters roll around and you're a transit user. I have several members of my family who use city transit everyday and it's hard to think of them standing on the side of the road risking life and limb in traffic and being forced to be exposed to the elements. Allot of transit stops in the city don't even get dug out in the winter and users are forced to either stand in/on a snow bank or the road way (this is so dangerous it's cringeworthy to see). In the past users have been instructed to stand in a driveway nearest the bus stop but i myself have had transit drivers drive right past me not knowing i'm waiting for the bus. (that's very very frustrating). I understand it would be a huge expensive undertaking for the city to build and maintain shelters for every transit stop..... however this is a very user friendly idea and would truly be a boasting point for the city to say "we have shelters at all bus stops on all major routes in the city"!!! Just a thought, something to ponder or even discuss at the next members, as winter is quickly approaching we all have to consider the needs of those who use the transit. Thank you Tamara

All available spaces are currently open only a few set hours per week or for specific events, with times that often overlap naps or daycare. Parents need a space to take small children to socialize and play - even on weekends, mornings, and later afternoons, and especially in cold/bad weather. The resource centre would be a good option if it could be funded to be staffed all day for open play, but a south side location would be very welcome.
