The City of Fredericton is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which are contributing to the climate crisis. Our Community Energy & Emissions Plan (CEEP) sets out our overall approach to climate action.
Personal vehicles emit over a quarter of the carbon pollution in Fredericton, so reducing emissions from cars and trucks will be a key ingredient of climate action. Alongside a shift to active and public transport, reducing emissions will require the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).
The City is drafting an EV Strategy to make a plan for helping Frederictonians access electric mobility. Do you think you’ll adopt an EV, or maybe an e-bike? Where do we need charging infrastructure?

Findings from this survey will be incorporated into the EV Strategy, and we will also post survey results on this platform.
