UPDATE: The NBEX and Fredericton City Council have adopted a final Site Development Plan for the NBEX Grounds! The NBEX Board of Directors voted to adopt the Plan during a meeting on April 22 2021 and City Council adopted the Plan at its regular meeting later that month.

NEXT STEPS: Now that the final Site Development Plan has been adopted, the City will create a Municipal Secondary Plan to enable development on the Grounds within its planning framework. The NBEX and the City will also form a new decision-making body that will be tasked with the overall coordination and implementation of the Plan. And there will be more opportunities for you to share your thoughts and ideas as this exciting, generational project unfolds.

    Phase 2 Public Survey

    The New Brunswick Exhibition Grounds Site Development Plan is a partnership effort between the New Brunswick Exhibition and City of Fredericton. The purpose of the Site Development Plan is to reimagine the exhibition grounds into a redevelopment that is future-focused, attainable, and respectful of the site’s almost 150-year agricultural legacy, as well as being Wolastoqiyik traditional territory.

    Before taking this survey, please view the Background & Scenario Concepts to learn about the proposed development scenarios. Your input will be used to develop the final Site Development Plan.
