Provide ability to purchase coffee and drinks / snacks at public arenas

Idea:

It boggles my mind why there is no ability to purchase coffee at Grant Harvey while watching your child play hockey. There is a huge revenue opportunity for the city being squandered here. To get it started faster, the city could offer a fixed term lease to a local business or franchise to provide the service. There is ample space for it. It would be a win win win scenario.

Staff Feedback:

Thank you for your email in regards to food services at the Grant Harvey. We currently contract out the food services to the Epsilon Y’s Men for this service and have for a number of years. At the moment food services at the Grant Harvey are unavailable due to COVID 19 restrictions but we are hoping to have the Epsilon Y’s Men back serving coffee and snacks soon.
